Lesson 1: Learning about the Google keyword tool.

When you get to the Google keyword tool this is what you will see, Word or phrase this is where you will type in your choice of words, you can enter as many words as you would like, you can even add keyword phrases, press enter on your keyboard and this will allow you to separate your keywords.

It will look something like picture 2. I have chosen golf and balls. Remember to type in the secret characters at the bottom like this.

Here you can see I have entered golf and balls in the text and have clicked search and this is what comes up. Scroll down to get to this. Here Google have given me a long list of possible words I might be interested in using. Google is making my job very easy as you can see in this next picture.

Here in picture 3 is what your results will look like, the top section is your word search listings followed by keyword idea’s.
When Google gives you keyword idea’s they are really giving you idea’s of how people might be using your search words, open your mind to the possibilities and learn that longtail words are an even better way to target more keywords at once.
Hint: Low competition keywords are what we are after the lower they are the easier it will be for you to master that keyword/ keyword phrase.
You have found keywords but are they worth researching, the last two columns are global searches and local searches and these are monthly search volumes, but don’t add them together as global search results will include the local search results. So now that you get the idea let’s jump right in.
Google has 80% of the market so Google is your main search engine tool to use but if you could discover keywords that would deliver good results across the search engine market then you are starting to dominate the market right from the start.
To achieve this result and free up time I would recommend using any of these programs as I have various friends who use them and get great results from all of these programs.

This is simply because it provides more in-depth results than FREE tools and most suitable for highly competitive keywords. You will be able to come up with long-tail keywords which would have taken some extra time to find with FREE keyword research tools.
